Adams Morgan Day Festival - Sept 13th


This Sunday, Sept 13th marks the 31st Adams Morgan Day Street Festival. There are two large music stages and other innovative & dynamic cultural, music, arts and dance activities. They expect about 25K in attendance this year. They have 4 blocks sectioned off for the event.

DJ PAVILON - located just off 18th St NW at Wyoming: (Marie Reed School mezzanine)
New in 2009, this pavilion will feature well-known area DJs who spin in Adams Morgan and nearby environs. Come see your favorite DJs in action in a fun, outdoor setting! Music featured will cover a wide range from soul to hip hop to samba.


Kids Activities:

Kids of all ages always enjoy the Adams Morgan Day Kid's Fair! The AMDay Festival Kid's Fair is located off of 18th St. on the field at Marie Reed School. Enter from 18th at Wyoming, or from California St. Showtime! Families can sit on bleachers set into the hill near the tennis courts.

Types of family-friendly fun.
Special appearance by Kinderman, Wizards Mascot G Wiz, the DC Fire Department & Police, and maybe even McGruff the Crime Dog. Check back for updates!

Games, Activities & Exhibits
•Activities Hard Rock Wall Climb: Standing 25 ft. tall this Rock Wall is fun for all ages. The "Extreme Rock" solid panel portrays a real cliff making the adventure even more enjoyable. This is always a must-try & Favorite!
•Toddler Moon Bounce: The moon bounce is a favorite for young children to enjoy.
